UI aggregate score is the ultimate determinant of who gets admitted and who don’t, this aggregate is combination of both your JAMB score and Post UTME grade
This aggregate forms the various departmental cut off mark1 for both the Merit, Catchment and ELDS (Education less developed states) admission list, hence the reason you should be able to calculate yours

How To Calculate UI Aggregate Score
To Calculate UI aggregate Score, simply divide your JAMB Score by 8 and your Post UTME score by 2, then add both together2.
Here is a typical example, using JANE as a case study…
JANE has a JAMB score of 260 and a Post UTME score of 60, to calculate JANE’s UI aggregate score, we will have
(260/8) + (60/2) = 62.5
With this, it means JANE is eligible to study any course with an aggregate score less than 62.5
You can apply this to your JAMB and Post UTME grade to see where you stand
Why Is UI Aggregate Score Important?
It is important to calculate your aggregate score because that is what will be considered when granting students admission
University of Ibadan will not considered your Post UTME performance alone, nor will they overemphasize your JAMB score, so both will be instrumental your admission processing.
