If you applied to the University of Port Harcourt through JAMB as your first choice, you can begin Post UTME enrolment and start preparing for the Post UTME screening.
Does this mean students who did not apply to UNIPORT as first choice is not eligible to participate in the Post UTME?
Yes, if you did not pick UNIPORT as first choice, you are not eligible for this Post UTME, but if you insist on participating, you can always apply for JAMB change of Institution.

UNIPORT JAMB Cut Off Mark To Be Eligible For Post UTME?
150 is the minimum JAMB cut off mark any student who wants to study in the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) must score.
Students with 149 as JAMB score are not eligible to participate in the Post UTME exam, to be eligible, it must be with a JAMB score of 150 and above, the higher your JAMB score the better your chances of been admitted.
DISCLAIMER: UNIPORT Cut off mark being 150 do not mean with a JAMB score of 150 you will be assured admission, No, it only gives you a fighting chance (allows you to participate in the Post UTME).
Requirements To Participate In UNIPORT Post UTME
If you wish to get UNIPORT Post UTME form, then you must meet up with the following requirements…

How Much Is UNIPORT Post UTME Form
UNIPORT Post UTME form will be sold for Two thousand Naira (NGN2000).
This payment can be done using your Master card or verve card, it can also be paid to any of the following banks: ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK LTD, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC AND UNIPORT – CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK.
Although the official fee is N2000, you may want to go with a little extra to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
How To Apply For UNIPORT Post UTME

Below are the steps to take to register for UNIPORT 2023/2024 Post UTME…
- First Visit “UNIPORT Data Capture Portal” @https://utmedetails.uniport.edu.ng/welcome_utme.php
- Locate the new user field and fill the boxes appropriately (Reg Number, Email, Phone Number, Password, Confirm Password)
- Next click on “CREATE” and confirm pre-loaded UTME details
- Generate Remita code for payment with your master, visa or verve card, etc or Print out Payment Slip and proceed to any of the following Banks with Remita platform (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK LTD, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC AND UNIPORT- CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK) and make payment of
N2, 000.00 0nly. - Obtain a Remita receipt showing an Access Code from the Bank Teller confirming the payment.
- Proceed back online and Login with your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code on the payment slip.
- Complete the Form online as requested.
- Upload your passport photograph with red background not more than 1 x 1 inch. (if requested)
- Print Photo Card for the Screening Exercise Clearance, Reprint Photo Card a day to the examination.
Easy right? Note the date and time of Screening on the Photo Card.
Where Can I apply For Uniport Post UTME
You can apply for UNIPORT Post UTME at any CBT center or Cyber café, there are no special centers where this can be carried out.
If you know what you are doing, following this guide diligently you can carry out the process yourself, but if you are still not sure, then a cyber café where school registration processing is regularly carried out would be your best bet.
The registration can be done from any location.
Closing Date For UNIPORT Post UTME Registration?
The University of Port Harcourt has fixed 14th August, 2023 as deadline for 2023/2024 Post UTME registration.
Which means all online registration will continue until this date as the portal will no longer be open after this date.
Can the deadline be extended?
Yes, it can, but there is no guarantee that this would be happening, so the best thing to do is to register as soon as you can.
When Is UNIPORT Post UTME Exam Date?

You must report to the designated Screening Venues at the time scheduled on the Photo Card or you risk disqualification.

- Inconsistency in name or picture on Registration Slip is not acceptable to the University and may lead to disqualification of affected candidates. Candidates’ names on their O’Level Certificates, UTME Results and other registration documents must be the same.
- Candidates MUST be sixteen (16) years of age or above by October 2023, to be eligible for the exercise.
- Mobile Phones, iPad, iPod, Walkman and similar gadgets or any extraneous materials will not be allowed into the Screening Venue and its environs.
- Candidates must apply within the Registration Period as the online link for the Application Form will be disabled at MIDNIGHT ON MONDAY, 31ST JULY, 2023.
- Registration is online, therefore, candidates are not expected to be present physically on the University Campus, but advised to register from any location.
- Candidates who chose the University as second choice and wish to be considered for admission can apply for the Screening Exercise ONLY when they have made a change to the University of Port Harcourt as their First Choice.
- Candidates must ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB website as soon possible as those who do not, will not be considered for admission.
- Candidates must ensure that they register with their own valid personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses.
- When the Screening Exercise is scheduled Candidates must report to the designated Screening Venues as scheduled or risk disqualification.
- PARENTS AND GUARDIANS, AS WELL AS UNINVITED SECURITY AGENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE CAMPUS ON THE DAYS OF THE SCREENING EXERCISE.
