In todays ‘Admission Guide Series‘ I will be providing you with a complete list of Universities that offers the JUPEB program, that is, Universities that you can apply to and run the two (2) semester program.

The truth is, not all Universities in Nigeria runs the JUPEB program and in order to let you know your available options I have come out with this list.

Most people make the mistake of mixing up JUPEB and IJMB together, these two programs are not one and the same thing, although they hope to achieve one purpose, but the method in which these goals are achieved and the body responsible for the organization are completely different.

Unlike IJMB, JUPEB program cannot be run in a center other than a University, so any other center you see out there that is not a University is obviously a Scam. Here are the list of Universities that offer JUPEB program.

Guideline For Universities To Become JUPEB Affiliated Centre

For Universities that may want to  present candidates for the examinations of JUPEB, is to seek affiliation by following the under listed procedure below…

The Vice Chancellor of any University wishing to present candidates for the examinations of JUPEB, is to seek affiliation by writing to:

Further Instruction

The Registrar/CE, in conjunction with the Vice-Chancellor of the University, would fix a date for the Pre-Affiliation Visit a Team from JUPEB, to ascertain the preparedness of the University for running the JUPEB programme in terms of availability of human and physical resources. The University is to provide logistics for the Pre-Affiliation Visit.

At the end of the Pre-Affiliation Visit, the Pre-Affiliation Visit Team will submit its recommendations to the Governing Board through the Registrar/Chief Executive.

Upon the approval of the Pre-Affiliation Visit Report by the Governing Board, the University would be required to pay an Affiliation Fee to be determined from time to time.

The University can then advertise for candidates and run the program according to JUPEB’s Syllabus and Calendar.

In Summary

Not all Universities in Nigeria are JUPEB Affiliated centers and most importantly, you cannot run JUPEB program in centers other than a University, therefore any other advert you see online that is not from a University is definitely in for your money with nothing else to offer.
