Have you ever wondered if it is possible to gain admission without using JAMB?, well, JUPEB is one of those ways you can employ to secure admission into any school of your choice that accepts it and fortunately, the University of Benin recognizes JUPEB as a method of admitting student.

This program allows student to undergo a 9 months training (one academic session), sitting for exams after each semester.

After this training, only students that scored up to the required points for the course they applied to study (Medicine, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering etc) will be admitted.

Do UNIBEN Offer JUPEB?

Yes, the University of Benin (UNIBEN) is one of the Universities in Nigeria that currently offers level admission to students through JUPEB.

And as such, interested candidates who which to study in UNIBEN but do not want to do so with JAMB, can use the JUPEB programme instead.

Is UNIBEN JUPEB form Out For Sale?

No, the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has not officially announced the start date for the sales of her JUPEB form.

Therefore, all students who which to study in the University of Benin but want to do so without JAMB will have to wait for the official announcement.

You must meet with the O’ level requirement (has WASSC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB Ordinary Level with credit passes in at least 5 relevant subjects in not more than two sittings).

When Will UNIBEN JUPEB Form be Out?

The University of Benin has announced not released any official date yet but you should expect the form to be out in May

All interested students who wish to study in UNIBEN but not by via direct application through JAMB can start applying from this date.

How Much Is UNIBEN JUPEB Form 2023

N15,000 excluding charges for Past questions and Portal Services

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has pegged Fifteen thousand Naira (N15,000) as the registration fee for her JUPEB program, this payment can be done with your Master card or verve card through the Remita portal while registering.

How To Apply For UNIBEN JUPEB Form 2023

Below are the steps to take to register for UNIBEN 2023 JUPEB Program…

Estimated Time for this 20 minutes

1. Visit https://waeup.uniben.edu/applicants

   On your Phone or PC browser (preferably chrome), visit https://waeup.uniben.edu/applicants to access Uniben’s Students online portal to kick start the registration process

2. Click on “JUPEB Pre-Degree (Foundation) Studies 2022/2023”

   

   After clicking on the link in Step 1, Scroll down of the page and click on “JUPEB Pre-Degree (Foundation) Studies 2022/2023“

3. Click on “Register for application” On the Next Page

   

   Next, Click on “Register for application” at the top left of the displayed page to start the process.

4. Provide All Your Necessary Information & Click ‘Send Login Credentials To Email Address’

   

   Here you will be expected to enter your personal information, such as, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Email Address and Phone Number.

   An immediate mail will be sent to the e-mail address you supplied.

5. Open your mail to get your generated ID and Password

   Go to your mail app and get your new User ID and Password which you can then use to login and continue your registration process.

6. Go back to https://waeup.uniben.edu/applicants and click login

   

   Now, go back to https://waeup.uniben.edu/applicants click on ‘Login‘ (this is located at the top right of this page).

7. Enter The ID & Password Sent To Your mail To Login

   

   On the next page, you will see a form containing USER NAME or ID and PASSWORD, enter the ID and Password sent to your email address and hit the ‘Login‘ button.

8. Click On ‘Edit Application Record’

   Click on ‘Edit application record‘ and provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.

   Upload a clear 1” x 1” COLOURED passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only.

   NOTE: the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin.

   FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUAILIFICATION AND FAILURE/FORFEITURE OF ADMISSION

9. Click On ‘Add online payment ticket’

   To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “College Pay” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee with an ATM-Enabled Verve or Master Card from any commercial Bank.

10. Submit Your Application Online

    Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application on-line.

11. Print Application Slip

    After successful payment, you can now download your application slip.

Where Can I apply For UNIBEN JUPEB?

You can apply for UNIBEN JUPEB program at any CBT center or Cyber café, there are no special centers where this registration must be carried out.

If you know what you are doing, following this guide diligently, you can register yourself, but if you are still not sure, then a cyber café where school registrations are regularly carried out would be your best bet.

This registration can be done from any location within or Outside Benin.

Deadline For UNIBEN JUPEB Registration?

The closing date for UNIBEN JUPEB registration is not fixed yet.

Do note that; all online registration will continue until this deadline as the portal will be closed after this date.

Students who pay after this deadline will not sit for the examination.

Will the deadline be extended?

There is no guarantee that this would be happening, so the best thing to do is to register as soon as you an.

When Is UNIBEN JUPEB Entrance Examination Date

The Entrance Exam for UNIBEN JUPEB will be on Saturday 3rd of September 2023 by 9am at the Ugbowo campus of the University.

Mode Of Study

The mode of study will be through Face to face contact at the University of Benin or other designated venues.

Lectures will be conducted from 8 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
