Hello SAVANT! welcome to today’s episode of my “Admission Guide Series” here, I will answer all relevant questions relating to the University of Benin Direct Entry for 2022/2023, I will also cover the application procedures and requirements for this. Good stuff right? STAY TUNED?
After JAMB for DE Students, the next line of action is to enroll for the Post UDE Form (DE) of the school you choose in Jamb (you can check out my guide on how to apply for Jamb change of course here), this application can only be done when the Portal for Post UTME application is opened.
Once this portal is opened, registration can be a little difficult, because unlike Jamb, there are no accredited/registration centers where you can just stroll into and get your registration done…

Is UNIBEN Direct Entry Form For 2022 Out?
NO, the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Direct Entry form for 2022/2023 is not officially out yet and as such students who which to study in Uniben will need to exercise some patience till application begins.
What this means is that, if you applied to the University of Benin through Jamb Direct Entry, you have to wait a little longer. This do not stop you from preparing for the Post UTME screening.
If you did not pick UNIBEN as your first choice in Jamb, you are not eligible for this Post UDE Screening, but if you insist on participating, you can always apply for Jamb change of Institution.
When Will UNIBEN Direct Entry Form be Out?
The Management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has not announced the date for the release of her Direct Entry Form, but using the University’s common trend, the form should be Out from October/November.
Although, for the school, it may be a bit technical due to the ongoing strike, and the fact that students who were given admission last year are yet to begin classes.

If you wish to get UNIBEN Direct Entry form, then you must meet up with the following requirements…

| 2. | You must have Obtained at least five (5) credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalent. The subjects must include English Language, and Mathematics (for courses for which a credit in mathematics is required) as well as three other relevant subjects (four if excluding mathematics); at not more than two sittings. (Jamb and Waec Subject Combination for all courses) |

How Much Is Uniben Direct Entry Form 2022/2023
N2,000
The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has pegged Two thousand Naira (N2000) as the registration fee for her Direct Entry, this payment will be made through Remita with a valid ATM-Enabled Card (Master Or VISA Card) from any Commercial Bank in Nigeria.
Although the official fee is N2000, you may want to go with a little extra to accommodate for extra charges.

Like I mentioned when I introduced this blog post, UNIBEN Direct Entry registration is not the same with Jamb, there are no approved centers to carry out this process, which means anyone with the ‘technical know how‘ can do this…
Here are the steps to take to register for Uniben 2022/2023 Direct Entry Screening…
IMPORTANT:
You must have a valid email account before starting this process, better still, use the email address you linked with your Jamb profile
- Visit https://waeup.uniben.edu/applicants and select POST UDE ADMISSION SCREENING 2022/2023
- Click on ‘REGISTER FOR APPLICATION‘ at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.
- Enter your Surname Exactly as written on the JAMB Registration slip, and JAMB Registration number. Immediately, your ID and Password will be displayed on the browser
- Go Back to https://waeup.uniben.edu/applicants, but this time, click on ‘Login‘ (top right of the front page).
- Enter your username and the password to login.
- To start the application process, please click on ‘Application record‘ and provide all required information
- To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay with Remita” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee of N2,000:00; with a valid ATM-Enabled Card from any Commercial Bank in Nigeria
- Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application online. (No correction will be accepted after the closing date).
- Go back online on the appointed date to print out the acknowledgement slip that contains your specific screening schedule

Where Can I Register For Uniben Post UTME
You can apply for Uniben Post UTME at any CBT center or Cyber café, there are no special centers where this must be carried out.
If you know what you are doing, following this guide diligently you can carry out the registration process yourself, but if you are still not sure, then a cyber café where school registration is regularly carried out would be your best bet.
The registration can be done from any location.

The deadline for UNIBEN Direct Entry registration has not been officially fixed yet, which means, Online registration will continue until the deadline is made known to the public, as the portal will be closed after this date.

Yes, it can, but there is no guarantee that this would be happening, so the best thing to do is to register as soon as you an.
When Is Uniben Direct Entry Exam Date?
Each student can find their Uniben Direct Entry Date, Venue and Time for their Screening Exercise on their reprinted acknowledge slip after registration for the Post UDE.
You must report to the designated Screening Venue with your Screening Invitation Slip that contains the screening schedule. GSM PHONES AND CALCULATORS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
