Post UTME in itself, can take different forms, It could be in the form of a written Exam, Online screening, Physical Screening or even Oral Exam, what ever form it takes, it is generally referred to as POST UTME.

It is the prerogative of Schools (Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education) to determine the method of screening students. And that is the reasons for todays guide.
In today’s Episode of my “Post UTME Toolkit Series” I will walk you through a thorough list of Universities in Nigeria that will conduct a written Post UTME for her student.
Can I Write Post UTME In Two Schools?
This has been a major question for student who do not want to lay all their eggs in one basket, which is of course, not a bad Idea.
The answer to this question is Yes, you can write Post UTME for two schools.
But to be able to do this, you must score above the cut of marks for the schools you choose in Jamb and you must have applied for these schools in Jamb during your JAMB registration.
That is, you must have filled these schools as your First and Second choice in Jamb, failure to do this would mean, you will have to apply for JAMB Change of Course or Institution.
So if I write Post UTME in this two schools can I be guaranteed admission?
I always knew you would ask that, I will be straight with you, the truth is, most universities prefers to admit first choice students
I guess even you would do the same, won’t you?, I taught as much.
So If my chances of gaining admission with two (2) Post UTME is thin, why should I bother?
Another good question, the truth is, you have to be smart about things like this.
Instead of applying to Highly competitive Universities like University of Benin (UNIBEN), UI, UNILAG and other that would blatantly decline students that choose them as second choice
You can instead apply to Schools with low student application, which will have no choice but to accept student who picked them as second choice.

Is Post UTME Harder Than JAMB?
This is one question I have been getting from quite a number student lately, and I decided to chip it in here.
The answer to this question is No, Post UTME is not more difficult than JAMB, neither is JAMB more difficult than POST UTME.
If you do your home work, and prepare effective for the Exam, then you will pass both Exam with EASE.

Like I mentioned before, It is the prerogative of schools to decide if they would conduct a written Post UTME or not, so we would have some Universities conducting a written Post UTME exam for student and others just Screening (Without written Post UTME)
