For some reasons students tend to have some complications either when they first register for JAMB, writing the Exam itself or even during the admission process.
At times like this, possible ways to solve these problem becomes the search of the day, it gets difficult when you don’t know who to contact and even more difficult when you know who to contact but do not know how to contact them.

How To Contact JAMB?
There are not so many ways to do this, and of course some are faster while with some you may never get response, but I will try highlighting the most common and effective, read through diligently for details…
Below are ways you can use To contact JAMB for complaint:
- Through JAMB Online Support System
- Going To JAMB Office Closest To You to Render your complaint
Contact JAMB Through Online Support System (COSS)
As part of the initiative of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to provide help to student, they came up with an integrated system where student can lay their complaints and make inquiries.

They called this system the Central Online support System (COSS), with this system you can easily lodge your complaints to JAMB and wait for response. There are two categories for complaining.
- For Student who enrolled for JAMB and have their Jamb Registration Number
- Those who wants to make inquiry for someone (Parents or Guardian)
Irrespective of the category you fall under, the procedure is almost the same, just a slight difference, I will guide you for both categories.
How do I send an Email to JAMB Via COSS
To be able to send an email to JAMB, it must be by accessing JAMB central Online support system, you must have access to the internet, if you do, follow the steps below for guide.

Open Chrome Or Other Suitable Browser On your Phone
Using your mobile phone, locate your chrome web browser or other Suitable browsers like Firefox, Internet explorer and open it

Visit JAMB Support Page @jamb.gov.ng/support
On this page, you will see two buttons, One colored green (Create support Ticket) and another button to access Existing ticket. Since this is your first complaint, hit the “Create support Ticket“

click “YES” If you have JAMB Registration Number or “NO” if you Don’t
Upon clicking on the create support ticket button, you will be asked “if you are a candidate with a JAMB registration number. Please click yes, else click no‘. Select appropriately the right option.

Fill The Form Appropriately and Click The “Send” Button
After selecting the right Option (YES or NO) you will be taken to a form page, where you will be asked to enter your JAMB registration number (This option is only for student who clicked yes in the previous page), Nature of Complaint (Admission, CAPS, Change of Institution or course, NIN e.t.c), Subject and message.
You are also given an opportunity to add a document (this document be a screenshot of the problem you encountered).

Click the SEND button
After successfully filling the fields with the correct information, hit the send button to relay your complaint to JAMB.

Note The Ticket ID Sent To You Through SMS or Email
After clicking on send, you will be sent a Ticket ID, it is with this Ticket ID you can track the progress of the complaint you filed.
And that is it, Easy Peasy right? You will receive a mail from JAMB when your ticket is responded to via mail.
Make sure the email address you fill is correct, else you will not be able to receive a response through mail.

How To Know If Your Ticket Has Been Responded to by JAMB
- First, Visit JAMB Ticket Checker Page @https://support.jamb.gov.ng/candidate-support/my-tickets
- On the next page, enter your JAMB E-facility profile email (this must be the Email you filled in, when you first Contact JAMB) and your ticket ID (this was sent to the phone number you filled when filing your complaint).
- Next, Click on the SUBMIT button.
- You will be taken to your Ticket Status page where you can see if your Mail have been responded to or not, if not check back later.

I applied for Jamb part time form in 2021, I submitted the indemnity form to my school. Earlier this month, May 2023, I was offered admission on caps and I accepted the admission , but whenever I try to print my admission letter, it’s always displaying my registration number doesn’t exist. I tried to check my admission status on the e-facility portal, it displayed I haven’t been offered admission yet despite having accepted the admission on caps. I tried to check my name on the jamb matriculation list portal, I inputted my correct jamb registration number and the year 2017 , it displayed “ I didn’t register for this examination”.
The admission you were offered in the month of May was for 2022 JAMB your registered for right?, and you do not experience any issue accessing your JAMB profile and JAMB CAPS, am I correct?
The admission I got was from my jamb regularization for my 2017 ND admission. Yes, I don’t have problem accessing my jamb caps and profile, but it keeps displaying registration number doesn’t exist whenever I try to print my admission letter or check my name on the jamb matriculation list.
If that is the case, you will need to visit JAMB office closest to you, to confirm the regularization was successful.
I wish to inform the management of jamb that candidates for batch 2 on the second day of the exam at Michael and Cecilia college of education agbarha delta could not access the English compression passage as the entire passage couldn’t be found in the system. Upon this they couldn’t answer the five questions attached to this passage. We hereby appeal to jamb to please do the needful as this will adversely affect the candidates affected.
